Is Your City Ready for a Greater Harvest?

In John 4, Jesus challenges His disciples to open their eyes and perceive beyond the natural to see a city ready for harvest!

It is right here in John chapter 4 are the words of life that stirred Pandita Ramabai to confront oppressive traditions and fight for the dignity, justice, and equality of women. Like Christ, she stood as an advocate for the voiceless, leading a movement that disrupted toxic beliefs and ungodly practices. Likewise today, Christ calls us to be a city on a hill, shining light in the darkness and disrupting deeds of darkness.

This International Women’s Day (March 8th) and throughout Women’s History Month, we invite city movements, churches, institutions, nonprofits, and marketplace initiatives across South Asia to unite to shine God’s light on women and girls. This is the moment for the disruptive gospel to transform our communities and declare that the Church is a refuge—a safe space for women to thrive.

The Esther Challenge Season 3: Jesus & Justice

We want the concerns of women in our cities to be seen and their voices heard.

Our Mission: To disrupt injustice and inequality, both in the Church and in our cities, by mobilizing every disciple to take action. We will mobilize just as Esther did to rescue her people from destruction.

What is the Esther Challenge?

The Esther Challenge is a city-wide initiative, a program of the Disruptive Women’s Movement. It seeks to mobilize the whole Church  to advocate for women’s justice and equity through celebrations, awareness, prayer and action.

The theme for 2025 is Jesus and Justice.

This theme highlights the gospel as the good news for women to disrupt injustices and inequalities that women face.
